My motivation for bodyboarding has evolved enormously from the moment I first started going into the water on the beaches of Réunion Island to this day.

What made you get up early to go in the water when you were a kid doesn’t have to be the same thing that drives you twenty, thirty or even forty years later. And I think understanding that evolution is precisely one of the keys to continuing to enjoy bodyboarding throughout your whole life.
For me, bodyboarding has never been just a sport. It’s been a way to connect with the ocean, with nature and with myself. And after so many years, I keep finding new reasons to get in the water.
