The Lost DRIVER 2.0 surfboard is the ongoing evolution of the most popular Pro-formance Shortboard. It has been designed based on feedback from team riders, particularly Kolohe Andino and Griffin Colapinto, as well as Carissa Moore and young Caroline Marks. The DRIVER 2.0 is a direct reflection of what the LOST surf team needs to keep up with high-performance surfing.
Over the last two years, since the previous version of the DRIVER (early 2017), there has been constant, almost monthly refinement and fine-tuning to keep pace with the evolution of modern surfing. Matt Biolos has had Griffin Colapinto and Kolohe Andino test hundreds of DRIVERS, with subtle adjustments. The good news is that this evolution also benefits the everyday surfer.
The updates include:
- A more gradual entry rocker for greater planing speed. It allows you to connect sections effortlessly and generate speed through turns.
- A wider outline in the front section, for more control and greater stability under the front foot.
- More thickness in the center of the board but with thin rails = More paddling power while maintaining great reactivity.
- More rocker and more concave under the back foot = More pop, higher speed, and a tighter turning radius.
